The welcome couldn’t have been improved – Chinchilla lost power as we arrived but the staff rose to the challenge, finding lights and making us comfortable. The exemplary level of consideration for us as guests continued throughout our stay. Whether recommending places to eat and drink or possible visits knowledge of the local area was cheerfully shared. If you want an impersonal large hotel, this is not the place but if you want a small friendly place to stay with character and great service then I would recommend it!

Clean rooms, comfy beds, great food, and exceptional management.
Only a stone’s throw away from the business centre, the Acacia Motel provides an ideal location to access what Chinchilla has to offer and return for a good night sleep in a comfortable bed. Justin ensures that guests are warmly greeted on arrival and that he is able to do everything he can to guarantee a memorable stay. His manner as the motel operator is second to none as he interacts with guests using relatability, honesty, helpful suggestions, and a fantastic sense of humour to help those staying with him settle with significant ease. The rooms were clean and very comfortable to highlight the effort Justin and his staff do to help their guests enjoy their stay. To top it off, Justin is able to create a meal of restaurant quality that will satisfy the most rapacious of appetites. A definite must-stay for those visiting Chinchilla.

Justin is an amazing host. We stayed with him at one of the most traumatic times we will ever experience and throughout he couldn’t have been more generous and accommodating to our situation. Nothing was too much trouble.
